EMAIL MARKETING

Marketing

Omnisend gives your agent email marketing for your store: create and send email and SMS campaigns, manage contacts and segments, run automations, publish signup forms, sync the product catalog, and read campaign and form performance.

  • Per-user credentials: each call uses the actual user's API key, never a shared bot.
  • Encrypted per-tenant vault: AES-256, resolved at request time, never in LLM context.
  • Scoped before every call: pre-call scope check, 90-day SIEM-exportable audit chain.

omnisend_analytics_report_generate
Generate analytics report
Get aggregated Omnisend campaign and automation performance (sends, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, attributed orders and revenue), grouped by the date messages were sent, the same way Omnisend's in-app reports work. Returns a reports array with one entry per query: its alias, dimensions, metrics and rows (one key per dimension and metric). Use omnisend_analytics_report_generate to match in-app campaign or workflow reports. Use omnisend_analytics_statistics_generate to group by when opens, clicks and orders actually happened, or for audience growth. Limited to 10 requests per minute and 55 per day.

Type
Required
Description
queries
array
Required
1 to 4 report queries. Each query needs a unique alias, metrics (at least one, for example [{"name": "sent"}, {"name": "openRate"}]) and dateRange. Optional dimensions break results down: timestamp (requires granularity hour, day, week or month), marketingActivityID, marketingActivityType (Campaign or Automation), messageID, messageChannel (Email, SMS or Push) or segmentID; up to 2 besides timestamp. Optional filters take name, operator (in or notIn) and values. Metrics include sent, failed, openedUnique, openRate, clickedUnique, clickRate, unsubscribedUnique, markedAsSpamUnique, attributedOrders, attributedRevenue and attributedRevenuePerSent. dateRange needs interval: custom (with from and to in RFC 3339, max 12 months) or a named range such as last7Days, last30Days, last90Days, thisMonth, lastMonth, thisYear (leave from and to out for named ranges). Example: [{"alias": "campaign-performance", "metrics": [{"name": "sent"}, {"name": "openRate"}, {"name": "attributedRevenue"}], "dimensions": [{"name": "marketingActivityID"}], "filters": [{"name": "marketingActivityType", "operator": "in", "values": ["Campaign"]}], "dateRange": {"interval": "last30Days"}}]

SEE HOW AUTH WORKS
Each user connects their own Omnisend API key once, and Scalekit sends it with every call. Keys stay vaulted, every call is scope checked, and every action is logged.
1
Authorize
Your user connects
Omnisend
once. We tie it to their identity and the meetings they approved — no shared bot account, no org-wide access
Who:
user ‘A’
when:
Once per user
access:
Limited to user
2
Store
Their
Omnisend
token lives in a vault scoped to them. User A's meetings are never reachable by an agent acting for user B, even on the same connection
vault:
encrypted
scope:
per-user
tokens:
auto-refreshed
3
Resolve
When your agent calls a
Omnisend
tool, we fetch the right token server-side. It never touches your agent, never appears in the LLM context, never shows up in your logs
speed:
~40ms
check:
before every call
seen by:
nobody
4
Audit
Every
Omnisend
tool call is logged — who triggered it, which meeting was fetched, what came back. 90 days of history, tied to the user who authorized it
history:
90 days
export:
SIEM-ready
logged:
every call

Why Scalekit
Secure your agent's access. Connectors ship in minutes
01.
Shared tokens break per-user analytics
A shared Omnisend API key looks fine in a demo. In production every campaign send and contact update looks like one service account, and you cannot tell which user triggered it. Scalekit resolves the credential of the actual user who triggered the agent, never a shared bot.
// shared key
audit → bot_service_account

// scalekit
audit → user_abc ✓
02.
Authentication is not authorization
03.
Multi-tenancy is architectural
04.
Omnisend today. Ten connectors tomorrow.
“Our agents act across Salesforce, Gong, Google Drive, and more, on behalf of every customer. Scalekit behind the scenes meant we can keep adding tools without ever rebuilding how credentials or tool calling work.”

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the agent access Omnisend as the user or through a shared key?
As the user. Each user connects their own Omnisend API key once, and Scalekit sends it with every call. Audit logs attribute every campaign send, contact change, and automation toggle to that user, not a shared service account.
Where is the Omnisend API key stored?
In Scalekit's managed AES-256 token vault, namespaced per tenant. To rotate it, the user reconnects with a new API key. Revocation is a single dashboard action. Credentials never appear in prompts, logs, or LLM context.
Can I limit what the agent does in Omnisend?
Yes. Filter by tool name in listScopedTools to expose only what you want, for example the list and report tools without omnisend_campaign_send or omnisend_campaign_delete, which permanently deletes a campaign. Scalekit also enforces scope checks before every API call.
What happens when a user revokes Omnisend access?
The connection is invalidated on the next tool call. Subsequent requests for that user fail closed with a clear error. Other users in the tenant remain unaffected. The event is logged for audit.
Which Omnisend store does the agent work in?
The brand the user's API key belongs to. omnisend_brand_get returns that store account, and the campaign, contact, segment, form, and product tools all act inside it.
